Abstract

Communication English has become an indispensable component of modern education due to globalization, technological advancements, and the growing demand for employability skills. While English serves as an international language of communication, many students, particularly in developing countries, continue to face
challenges in acquiring effective communication skills. This theoretical research paper explores the significance of Communication English in academic, professional, and social contexts. The paper synthesizes existing literature, educational theories, and policy perspectives to establish Communication English as a core competency for
holistic student development. It discusses the role of English communication in enhancing cognitive development,
academic achievement, career readiness, interpersonal relationships, and global citizenship. The study further examines barriers affecting communication proficiency and suggests pedagogical strategies for strengthening English communication education. The findings emphasize that Communication English should not merely be
treated as a language subject but as a life skill integrated throughout the educational process.
